Kasia Studnicka-Perkin

Miss Studnicka-Perkin graduated from medical school in Poland in 2005 and gained majority of subsequent post-graduate experience and qualifications in United Kingdom where she currently works as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery Consultant. 

She completed Foundation Training in East Anglia, followed by one year of Accident and Emergency training in Glasgow  before settling into the surgical training. 

She progressed through Core Surgical Training and Specialist Training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in Mersey Deanery achieving Klennerman’s golden medal for outstanding achievements during the process.

She completed the final FRCS Orth exam in 2021 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The same year she completed the European Board of Orthopaedics and Trauma Exam and became a Fellow of the Sport and Exercise Medicine College after passing the exit exam of this additional specialty training. 

Miss Studnicka-Perkin completed Upper Limb Fellowship at Wrightington Hospital, world-renowned centre of excellence for elective orthopaedic surgery in 2023.

She currently practices as a substantive Consultant at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board West Sector. At the acute site, Ysbyty Gwynedd, she looks after patients who sustained trauma to their limbs and spine while at elective site in Llandudno General Hospital, she looks after patients with elective Hand, Wrist and Elbow problems. Mrs Studnicka-Perkin also has a  private practice at various locations within North West. 

In addition, she is a graduate of prestigious MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering at Cardiff University, acts as the Advanced Life and Trauma Support Instructor at the Royal College of England and engages with medico-legal aspect of work by providing expert witness reporting. 

She holds an International Diploma in Mountain Medicine gained while working as an Expedition Medic during her junior doctor years when she travelled extensively.

Currently apart from enjoying spending time with her young family, Mrs Studnicka-Perkin enjoys the outdoors and exploring the beauty of North Wales.  Her favourte sports include mountain biking, skiing trail running and strengh training.
